Arizona Licensed Beverage Association

The Arizona Licensed Beverage Association (ALBA) was established in 1936, to protect retail liquor licenses against unfair legislation.

ALBA insures licensees are represented at the State Legislature and any other governing body that has control over policy and laws by engaging a full time lobbyist.

You can't fight city hall, the state legislature and federal control alone. ALBA represents thousands of liquor licenses across the state, while maintaining the ability of helping members on an individual basis.

As an ALBA member, you belong to the only group in Arizona whose purpose is to guard against biased legislation that could harm your business and deny you the freedom to operate your retail liquor establishment.

We invite you to get involved; ask questions, voice concerns and if you haven't already done so, join the many licensees who support ALBA's mission by becoming an ALBA member. This is your trade organization!

Our Goals

  • To represent every member and maintain a strong voice in the legislative process in Arizona and Washington.
  • To keep members abreast of current activities and future goals of the Arizona Licensed Beverage Association.
  • To provide educational opportunities which prepare licensees for the escalating challenges facing alcohol beverage retailers.
  • To update licensees on legal and legislative issues affecting the alcohol beverage industry on the state and federal level.
  • To keep the lines of communication open through various channels and levels of representation: i.e. Board of Officers and Directors, local association meetings, and quarterly newsletter.
  • To offer licensees the opportunity to network with fellow members.
  • To provide members with the perfect balance of motivation and education.
  • To continually strive to be the most valuable source of information for our members so that they cannot afford to not be a member
